What will it cost? The bar is normal country pub prices. The restaurant is good value for money with starters averaging £5.50, mains £13.50 and puddings £5.50. The wines are priced from £13.00 to £35.00.

The Foodie weekender*: Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night and dinner for two in the Restaurant on Friday and Saturday evening. Lunch on Saturday can be taken in one of four ways: a) in the hotel, b) at The Mulberry Tree, Birstall overlooking Watermead Nature Park, c) at The Bradgate, next to Bradgate Park or d) a picnic can be provided by a Red house Chef

Are children welcome?

Yes. Children are welcome in the restaurant and all dishes are available in children’s portions at a 50% discount. Children are not permitted in the bar.

Are dogs welcome?

Dogs are welcome in the bar but not in the restaurant (apart from guide dogs).

The restaurant is open:

12pm - 3pm for lunch from Monday to Saturday
6pm - 9.30pm for dinner from Monday to Saturday
12pm - 5pm for Sunday lunch

Bar food is available from:

12pm - 10pm (Monday to Thursday)
12pm - 6/7pm (Friday and Saturday)

No bar food available during the day on Sundays, instead we run our delicious Sunday lunch menu in the restaurant.

Breakfast is available:

7am - 9am (Monday to Friday)
8am - 10am (Saturday and Sunday)
