What is it?

A traditional country pub, a contemporary 100-cover restaurant and a luxury 8-bedroom hotel with large courtyard, beer garden and car park. All food is cooked from fresh and sourced locally where possible, and complemented with excellent premium ales & wines.

What will it cost? The bar is normal country pub prices. The restaurant is good value for money with starters averaging £5.75, mains £16.00 and puddings £5.50. The wines are priced from £13.50 to £37.00.

Mid-Week Rate : Monday - Thursday
Price £70 per person per night

Weekend Rate : Friday and Saturday
Price £60 per person per night

The Short Break* : Stay Saturday night with dinner for two and Sunday lunch for two.
Price £100 per person

That Friday and Saturday Feeling : A Friday or Saturday night stay with dinner for two in the restaurant, a bottle of champagne and breakfast in the morning.
Price £90 per person also includes a bottle of champagne per couple.

The Foodie Weekender : Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night and dinner for two in the Restaurant on Friday and Saturday evening. Lunch on Saturday can be taken either in the restaurant or a picnic can be provided.
Price £185 per person with a bottle of Champagne per couple.

NB All prices quoted include a continental breakfast. A cooked breakfast is available for a £5 supplement.

Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms
All bedrooms are strictly non-smoking
The Foodie Weekender only includes either Saturday or Sunday Lunch
£20 supplement applies to all single occupancy reservations, except the mid-week rate
Food is not served after 6pm on Sunday, but a cold platter can be prepared in advance.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Children are welcome in the restaurant and all dishes are available in children’s portions at a 50% discount. Children are not permitted in the bar.

Are dogs welcome?

Dogs are welcome in the bar but not in the restaurant (apart from guide dogs).

Opening Hours

The restaurant is open:

12pm - 3pm for lunch from Monday to Saturday
6pm - 9.30pm for dinner from Monday to Saturday
12pm - 5pm for Sunday lunch

Bar food is available from:

12pm - 10pm (Monday to Thursday)
12pm - 6/7pm (Friday and Saturday)

No bar food available during the day on Sundays, instead we run our delicious Sunday lunch menu in the restaurant.

Breakfast is available:

7am - 11am (Monday to Friday)
8am - 10am (Saturday and Sunday)
